Bears signed a vet safety Xavier Woods. Likely to keep Thieneman at SS, and Cam Lewis at NB [since Mr. Glass-Gordon remains dubious] while placing DB Dallis Flowers [who?] on IR.

Woods is a journey-man band-aid for now. For some reason, the Bears’ secondary always drop like flies. Maybe keeping iron-man Byard one more season was the way to go as now Halas has to juggle the roster and cross their fingers.
